BMW unveils 3-series coupe

THIS is the first picture of BMW’s new 3-series Coupe, due on sale here in September and featuring a twin-turbocharged petrol engine as the range-topper.

BMW will initially offer two versions of the car in the UK – a £28,090 325i SE offering 218bhp and the 335i SE, which will cost £33,420. The latter model uses the new direct injection 3.0-litre straight six engine featuring twin turbos to boost power to 306bhp.

The range will grow later in the year with the launch of the 330i powered by a 3.0-litre petrol engine offering 272bhp and the 330d, using the familiar 3.0-litre 231bhp turbodiesel. Expect also to see 320i and 320d versions.
