The new arrival is not actually for use in chasing down miscreants, but part of a recruitment drive for special constables.
DaimlerChrysler Fleet Management supplied the car under contract hire, and made its debut public appearance at the Special Constabulary National Conference 2006, held at the weekend in Chester.
