BMW has developed a new concept car, which merges its Z4 model with its classic 328 racing car.

The new Concept Coupe Mille Miglia was unveiled prior to the famous Italian rally of the same name.

The Mille Miglia was resurrected in 1977 as an annual rally to celebrate the races which originally started in 1927.

BMW’s latest concept has a modified engine and suspension taken from the new Z4 M Coupe. The exterior design is BMW’s homage to past engineers who contributed to BMW’s racing heritage.
