Karting battle continues

LEX Vehicle Leasing has made it through to the grand final of the 2006 Kwik-Fit Fleet National Karting Challenge.

The team took the chequered flag after notching up 341 laps to win the North West heat held at Daytona Karting, Manchester.

Lex saw off the challenge of MNH Vehicle Contracts, whose team set the fastest lap time, and the Lloyds TSB autolease – Bury team.

Today (May 18) four teams are scheduled to battle it out in the North East qualifying heat. Nine nationwide heats are being held in this year’s event with a total of 18 teams set to qualify for the Milton Keynes grand final in July.

The teams already through are: Alphabet, Hitachi Capital Fleet, LeasePlan UK, VELO, Fleet Support Group, Lloyds TSB autolease, Paragon Vehicle Contracts, Carillion Fleet Management, GRS, Volkswagen Financial Services and DaimlerChrysler Services Fleet Management.
