VOLKSWAGEN Group has launched a new policy aimed at cutting its impact on the environment in the UK.

As well as introducing new technology on cars such as the TSI system, which offers big engine performance from a 1.4-litre unit, the firm will encourage staff at its Milton Keynes headquarters to do their bit for the planet.

In addition to planting trees in the grounds of its head office, the group has also switched to renewable power supplies, buys 100% recycled paper and is encouraging staff to recycle more.
