Smith flagship

SMITH Electric Vehicles is moving to a flagship assembly plant near Newcastle-upon-Tyne to produce a range of electric, zero-emission vans and trucks.

The move is expected to create more than 400 jobs at the 250,000sq ft site and the group has taken a long lease on the building as it develops the company.
