MAZDA has revealed a surprise addition to its MX-5 roadster range – a model equipped with a folding metal roof.

Due to be officially unveiled at the British International Motor Show in London next month, the model will be known as the MX-5 Roadster Coupe.

The car uses a two-piece retractable roof which lowers and raises at the touch of a button and folds away beneath a panel behind the seats.

Full details and prices will be announced at the car’s unveiling next month.
