SEAT appoints new business manager

SEAT has appointed a new national business sales manager to replace the outgoing Nigel Wright.

Perry Clarke joins from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, where he spent five years as contract hire and lease manager. During that time he raised fleet sales from 700 in 2001 to 4,500 in 2005.

Before that, he spent two years at Skoda Business Sales and 23 years at Land Rover.

In his new role, Clarke will lead three account managers and the business sales support team. He arrives as Seat sees record UK sales, driven mainly by the new Leon, and an increasing share of fleet and business sales.
