Nanjing no show

ORGANISERS of next week’s British International Motor Show in London have denied claims that the Chinese owners of MG Rover plan to relaunch the marque at the event.

Newspaper reports last week claimed that Nanjing Motor, the owner of the collapsed MG Rover, was to unveil its plans for the revitalisation of the Midlands carmaker at the show but organisers say the firm will not be present at the event, which is being held in London’s Docklands from July 18 to 30.
