We’ve put Fiat’s new Grande Punto up against the hugely popular – and recently revamped – Ford Fiesta to see if it has what it takes to be the number one supermini.
It certainly has attributes that can take it to the top – Fiat’s expertise in small cars, good looks, very competitive pricing and a generous specification. In fact, the amount of kit Fiat has piled on it far outstrips the more expensive Fiesta.
And its projected residual values are good, too – over three years/ 60,000 miles the Grande Punto returns a healthy 35% of value new.
