Drink warning

JUST one alcoholic drink can severely impair a person’s ability to drive, according to latest research from an American psychology journal.

Studies have found that drivers’ ability to perceive speed limits, road signs and other cars reduces after a single alcoholic drink.

More than 50 participants took part in the trial and, according to researchers, those who were given alcohol were more than twice as likely to miss events shown on a video.
