Free fleet legislation guide

A FREE 16-page guide to the changing legislation surrounding running a fleet is available on request, courtesy of GE Commercial Finance, Fleet Services.

The free guide, entitled “Legislation – what you need to know today and do tomorrow”, covers subjects including:

  • Company car tax changes for 2008/09
  • New CO2-based VAT fuel scale charge from May 2007
  • Capital allowances and expensive leasing disallowance
  • Van tax shake-up in 2007
  • Euro V on the horizon
  • EU Directive aims to make biofuels the Next Big Thing
  • Digital tachos for vans over 3.5 tonnes

The guide is being issued to GE Fleet Services’ entire customer base and is also available free to anyone who would like a print or online copy by e-mailing Christian Southall at christian.southall@ge.com with their name, organisation, job title, and address.

GE’s “Fleet Fundamentals 2006” pocket guide, issued last month - which covers basic information in key areas including benefit in kind taxation, VAT fuel scale changes, mileage allowances and legislation – is also still available from the same source or online at www.gefocus.co.uk/fundamentals.
