What challenges have you faced?
The challenges I have in my everyday job are similar to those that the industry is facing as a whole. Fleet taxation seems a permanent issue, as does duty of care and running eco-friendly fleets. Ensuring LeasePlan stays on top of all the issues and communicating these to customers proactively remains an ongoing challenge.
Is there anything you wish you’d handled differently?
Not really – my main aim when I took up the role was ensuring that the service we offer to customers adds real value, strategically and to the bottom line. It is not simply about leasing vehicles, we believe in building close relationships with our customers to ensure that we provide a service which best fits their needs.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
