What have the first few months been like?
Hectic but rewarding. I’ve been working hard to gain understanding of a type of business outsourcing where the team you pay really play for the client.
What’s the first thing you did at work this morning?
I went around the office to touch base with our client teams and staff – just like every morning. Then I put the coffee machine on.
What’s the best part about your job?
Getting satisfaction from exceeding client requirements and pitching for new business with a young team of very able people.
What motivates you of a morning?
On weekdays, I like to attack the business and give the shareholders, clients, employees and suppliers a treat. On weekends, I take time to relax, catch up, dig the garden or polish the car collection. I might even find time to talk to the wife.
Where’s your favourite holiday destination?
Young Island and Petit St Vincent in the Caribbean but an Oxfordshire country garden when the sun shines is hard to beat.
