MANAGERS at British Airways have used their environmental policies to help determine which vehicles to include on their fleet.

Following the move, the group has now taken on 293 Renault cars and vans for its customer services, engineering and cargo staff.

Colin McWilliam, general manager, Ramp Service, British Airways, said: ‘The main factor in our decision to choose Renault is the choice of environmentally- friendly vehicles, in particular its low-emission vehicles and Euro IV compliant engines, which supports our strategy.’

British Airways’ fleet now includes 200 Kangoo cars, 31 Kangoo vans, 49 Trafic minibuses, 11 Megane sport tourers and two Grand Espaces.
