Fleet News

We stand alone as fleet titles close ...

TWO business magazines serving the fleet industry have closed, leaving Fleet News as the only weekly newspaper for fleet professionals and decision-makers.

The last issues of Fleet Week and Fleet Management, published by Wilmington Media, were printed in August.

Over recent months the fleet publishing market has got increasingly competitive, with clear market-leader Fleet News relaunching with a strengthened proposition and new look. In August Emap Automotive, publisher of Fleet News, acquired Company Car magazine and the test drive event Company Car in Action from DMG World Media.

The closure of Fleet Week and Fleet Management comes one month after a complaint against them over circulation figures was upheld. Details of the complaint can be seen in the complaints log on the ABC website at www.abc.org.uk under rules and regulations.
