Toyota aims to cut fleet’s fuel bill

THE fleet team at Toyota is hoping to slash thousands of pounds off its annual fuel bill after 28 members of staff have agreed to switch their company cars to the hybrid Prius.

On average, the employees cover 25,000 miles a year and Toyota believes the move will reduce the fleet team’s fuel bill by more than £17,000.

The manufacturer claims it will save 56 tonnes of CO2 through the switch.
