FLEET managers have the chance to get expert face-to-face advice on risk management, government taxation policy, green fleet management and fleet finance at the Fleet News Business Forum.

A series of workshops are being held as part of the Forum, which offers free places to fleet decision-makers at the luxury five-star De Vere Oulton Hall Hotel, in Leeds.

As part of the Revenue Review workshop, Elizabeth Ward and Elizabeth O’Donnell, policy advisers from HM Revenue & Customs, will be giving in-depth advice on company and van taxation.

They will also provide face-to-face advice on approved mileage allowance payments, advisory fuel rates and van taxation.

A look at the wider financial aspects of running a fleet will be provided by Alison Chapman, tax partner, Deloitte.

Chris Endacott, director, Gfleet Services, will examine how environmentally-friendly fleet management techniques can cut business costs and emissions. Effective risk management will be covered by Tim Shallcross of the newly-formed IAM Motoring Trust.
