Infiniti plans

NISSAN’S luxury Infiniti brand will be based in Zurich, Switzerland, when it comes to Europe next year in order to keep it as independent as possible from its parent company.

And in order to impose strict brand values from the start, the firm is looking for only one dealer partner in each market, including the UK.

Models likely to be offered initially are versions of US petrol-only cars such as the FX SUV, G35 Coupe and M saloon.

The next generation of Infiniti models will be designed with both the USA and Europe in mind and are likely to include diesel models, executives claim.
