USERS of fleetnews.co.uk can benefit from RSS news feeds.

RSS or Really Simple Syndication will provide free content from us straight to your desktop as soon as it’s added to the site. It works in similar way to email bulletins, except the updates are in real time and will be sent to your RSS feedreader instead of your inbox.

Before you can start using this new service, you will need a feedreader. This is a piece of software that checks RSS feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added to them.

We have included a guide on how to get hold of a feedreader on the new RSS page on our website. Once you’ve got a feedreader, you can then specify the news you want from us. We have standard feeds available like news, used car, the editor’s blog, European news, forum topics, jobs and road tests.

We have also developed a keyword feed. For example, you can choose a feed which looks only for articles with a certain word in them, for example, risk, tax or fuel.
