National Car Rental has signed a contract to provide rental vehicles to the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL), an agency of the Ministry of Defence (MOD).

The contract is part of National’s ongoing relationship with leading international service company, Serco Group, which works with DSTL.

Under the new, year-long agreement, National is delivering an integrated travel solution to DSTL, using the technology-driven management tools.

Serco provides a range of services to DSTL and turned to National when it needed to source a daily rental partner that could be fully integrated into DSTL’s online travel management platform. This will be achieved through the integration of Speedlink – National’s PC-based reservation system, which provides real time links to National’s own rental system.
