DaimlerChrysler Fleet Management (DCFM) has won the contract to supply the 65-vehicle fleet of English Churches Housing Group (ECHG).

The contract for the vehicles is for two years/20,000 miles per annum.

ECHG has recently merged with The Riverside Group, a housing and regeneration company, which is based in Liverpool and owns/manages approximately 50,000 homes throughout England. DCFM is also the sole fleet management supplier for Riverside.

The intake of ECHG vehicles has brought major changes in The Riverside Group’s fleet. ECHG’s fleet is currently fleet managed by DCFM, but is progressively migrating to contract hire with a maintenance arrangement. Riverside’s existing 95-vehicle fleet, including all subsidiaries, is also mainly funded through contract hire.
