While Honda was gauging reaction to its Accord Tourer Concept at last month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, it was also testing the real thing at the Nurburgring in Germany.

Our spyshot shows a heavily-disguised Accord saloon being put through its paces ahead of its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show next March.

The Accord, which goes on sale in the UK next summer, will be offered with a range of Euro V-compliant engines – including a new 2.2-litre i-DTEC diesel which cuts down on NOx emissions.

The concept and test mule hint at sharper styling and a sportier look.
