Van fleet operators will benefit from case studies from some of Britain’s most experienced fleet managers at the Fleet Van Conference on November 22.

Among the speakers will be Ann Hershaw, commercial and fleet manager – supply chain, BSkyB, and Chris Roberts, area fleet manager – south & east Yorkshire, Royal Mail.

They are just two of a 12-speaker line-up for the day, which will be held at the Concept Centre, Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire.

Other speakers will include Fleet News award-winning fleet manager Barry Illing, now managing director of consultancy RoadFleet Forte, and Damian James, head of transport provision at Bracknell Forest Borough Council.

A legal overview will be offered by David Faithful, solicitor with Lyons Davidson, while advice on management issues will come from Lawrie Alford, sector head at the Freight Transport Association.

Claire Shrewsbury, from the government-backed Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving Scheme (SAFED), and Edmund King from the RAC Foundation will also be taking part, along with organisations ranging from residual value experts CAP to financial specialists Deloitte.
