Pan-European contract signed

Commercial products manufacturer Ingersoll Rand has appointed Fleet Logistics to manage its fleet of 1,100 vehicles across 16 European countries.

A desire to increase cost transparency, standardise processes and more efficiently manage expenditure led to the appointment.

A number of fleet cost control initiatives will be introduced, at the heart of which will be a multi-bidding approach that will see two or three leasing companies appointed in each country to increase the competitiveness of leasing rentals.
