Pendragon Contracts, the contract hire and lease division of Pendragon plc, Europe’s largest multi-franchise dealer group, has released details of a five-point battle plan that it says will gain it a greater slice of the UK’s contract hire and lease business.

Pendragon, which already operates a fleet of some 25,000 vehicles, has said it has no plans for acquisitions but instead will ‘achieve growth organically’.

Heading the new strategy is a leadership team of key personnel from Pendragon Contracts and its sister companies Vardy Contract Motoring and Bramall Contracts.

Operating from one integrated IT platform – the cfc Contract Manager 4 system – all the businesses will now have identical processes, values and functionality, managed from Derby and Sunderland, although Pendragon will continue to operate from all its current locations.
