Developed by PIE Enterprises in partnership with FTA and Transport for London’s Freight Unit, the guide provides detailed information about parking restrictions on London’s streets as well as highlighting other useful information.
Key sections of the guide set out up-to-date information about parking rules and regulations as well as more information about safe driving and tips on fuel efficiency. The information in the guide is relevant to all commercial vehicle users.
Gordon Telling, FTA’s head of Policy for London, south east and east of England said, “We are all aware of the increasing burden that parking costs are putting on businesses’ bottom line.
"While there are lots of issues that we are working on with local councils to improve the supply of spaces and fairness of tickets, there is still a need to help drivers who are unfamiliar with parking locations and who get penalised for not having good local knowledge.’
