American-based telematics specialist Trimble has launched a range of wireless fleet productivity solutions for the UK commercial vehicle market.

Trimble has offices in Ipswich and has begun offering TrimWeb and GeoManager fleet management packages.

These GPS solutions are designed to help European fleet operators and field service providers reduce fuel and other operating costs while increasing mobile worker productivity and customer service.

The solutions utilise monitoring, mapping and reporting tools as well as wireless communications, messaging and automated workflow.

Trimble GPS fleet productivity applications are designed to provide companies with a real-time view of their vehicle locations through maps and reports.

Pricing starts at 71 pence per day for service, hardware, warranty and installation.

In addition to GPS-based fleet management products, Trimble also offers solutions for field service management consisting of intelligent software for appointing, scheduling and dispatching, routing and demand/capacity planning.
