Vauxhall has launched a new bargain basement version of the Combo called the Expression, costing £7,995 (ex VAT).

The Expression has a load volume of 2.76 cubic metres and a payload of up to 613kg.

It is powered by a 75bhp 1.3-litre CDTi engine and comes with power steering, ABS brakes with EBD and Electronic Brake Assist, remote central deadlocking, a driver’s airbag, a stereo-radio, half-height steel bulkhead, pyrotechnic seatbelt pretensioners, pedal release system and overhead storage shelf and electronic engine deadlock immobiliser.

A range of options includes single (£235) or twin (£400) side-loading doors, a tailgate with rear wash-wipe (£100), load bay protector mat (£50), restraint mesh (£85) and a FlexCargo fold-flat passenger seat (£150).
