'Green' rental company

A new environmentally friendly vehicle rental company, Green Motion, has just opened its first branch in Oxford.

The company aims to provide corporate customers with the choice to hire green vehicles from a green company.

Green Motion offers the sub100g/km Bluemotion VW Polo alongside low emission Citroens and hybrids from Honda, Toyota and Lexus.

The company’s objective is to ensure that in excess of 70% of its fleet emits less than 120g/km.

Green Motion’s network is being developed using a franchise strategy – the first six franchise territories have already been awarded in the south east and Midlands. The first branch has opened in Oxford.
