I am responsible for 96 leased contract vehicles run on a three-year cycle. What is your fleet history?
Very limited before I took on this role two years ago. My previous position was as a manager in the manufacturing industry, which covered HR, health and safety and finance. Experience in these areas have helped greatly in fleet management. What do you enjoy about your job?
Not knowing what problem-solving challenges await me in my email ‘inbox’ and phone messages. What was your first job after school?
My first temporary job was making glass dogs – I got paid 1d per dog. My first permanent job was as an accounts clerk for a major insurance company. Can you remember your first company car?
It was a Renault Laguna. I found it well equipped, very comfortable and easy to drive. What is your favourite film?
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest – I have seen it so many times but it still makes me laugh and cry.
