Cheaper Volvos

VOLVO has slashed prices across the S80 range – with key fleet diesel models now up to £1,800 cheaper than before.

The S trim level has been dropped and the entry-level SE has been enhanced with an upgraded hi-fi system. The changes mean the S80 diesels are now priced between £25,495 and £29,345. Key savings include £1,805 off a D5 SE and £1,705 off a 2.4D SE.

Price realignments have also taken place in the S40 and V50 ranges. Savings of up to £1,980 are available on the S40 saloon, and upgrading to SE spec now costs £1,500 instead of £2,350. V50 estates, which now offer the 1.6-litre 100bhp petrol and 110bhp 1.6 diesel engines, have dropped in price by up to £1,360.
