Rewarding excellence

ROAD safety charity Brake is seeking to identify the best examples of how companies have worked to improve fleet safety in its annual Fleet Safety Forum Awards for Excellence.

The awards recognise the achievements of those working to help reduce the one-in-four road deaths involving at-work drivers. A presentation will take place on Friday, June 15, at Chesford Grange in Warwickshire. The closing date for entries of April 6.

Categories to enter are: Road risk manager of the year, company driver safety, safe vehicle maintenance, vehicle safety invention, crash analysis procedures, road safety in the community, fleet service provider of the year and vehicle manufacturer, for safe vehicle design.

Entries will be judged by an independent panel of industry judges. For case studies and details of last year’s winners visit www.brake.org.uk.
