ANALYSIS of the top-selling car manufacturers across Europe for the year to date has shown Volkswagen remains at the top of the table.
The manufacturer is ahead of Opel/Vauxhall in second place and Ford in third. Jato Dynamics’ analysts said new model introductions continue to be the most important factor in driving sales growth for manufacturers.
In terms of model sales, the Fiat Grande Punto was Europe’s best-selling car, with the Peugeot 207 in second place and the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa third.
