Fleets will be able to focus on the environment when they visit Company Car in Action 2007, the ride and drive event for fleet decision-makers.

As part of a series of displays at the event, to be held at Milbrook Proving Ground from June 19-21, there will be a special “Green Room” providing a wealth of advice and information about how fleets can reduce their impact on the environment.

It will include advice about the Government-funded Motorvate scheme – a membership club for innovative fleet managers achieving reductions in vehicle carbon emissions.

It provides access to specialist advice, annual auditing of vehicle emissions and opportunities to network and share information and best practice with other organisations.

Success will be measured through a specialised accreditation process to bronze, silver and gold levels.

Hundreds of fleet managers, finance managers, purchasing executives, HR managers and senior managers of major companies have already signed up for the year’s most important drive and decide event.

In addition to a range of displays, the day allows drivers to try out the latest models on a series of test circuits.

They can compare a wide range of models back-to-back and discuss their views with experts from each manufacturer.
