Alphabet lease

Gloucester-based construction company E G Carter and Company has appointed leasing company Alphabet as supplier of its 80 cars and 80 commercial vehicles after switching from outright purchase to contract hire.

E G Carter purchasing manager, David Carter, said: “We geared our previous car grading policy to on-the-road purchase prices, which didn’t reflect the real cost to the company of operating the vehicles.”
