Two well-known television personalities are taking the role of chairman at the Fleet News Hit for Six conference at its two venues this year.

For Hit for Six South, to be held on September 19 at the Kassam Stadium, Oxford, the chairman will be Declan Curry, business presenter on BBC Breakfast and News 24.

Curry, who was chairman of the Oxford event in 2005 and Hit for Six North last year, reports each weekday morning from the studios of the London Stock Exchange or from locations around the UK.

At Hit for Six North, to be held on September 26 at the Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley, West Yorkshire, the chairman will be award-winning journalist and broadcaster Harry Gration.
