Honda will launch two new Accord models in the UK in September to bolster its appeal in the fleet market.

The Sport GT features sports styling, carbon fibre-effect interior trim and the high-technology pack which encompasses voice-activated satellite navigation and Bluetooth hands-free phone kit.

Available in saloon and Sport Tourer guises, prices start from £20,767. The other new model is the diesel SE version which lowers the Accord’s entry-level price to £18,600.

Bernard Bradley, head of sales at Honda, said: “The diesel SE is a keenly-priced car which offers a high specification with an extremely competitive price, with low running costs.” Fleet sales of the Accord are up by 68% year-to-date.
