Spyshot: Ford’s Fiesta focus

This is Ford’s new Fiesta supermini, which is due on sale next summer.

Under the camouflage is Ford’s ‘kinetic look’ styling borrowed from the new Mondeo.

Likely to make its world debut early next year, the new Fiesta will run 1.4 and 1.6-litre diesel engines jointly developed with the PSA Peugeot-Citroën group.

As well as a range of petrol units from 1.3 to 1.8 litres, expect to see a turbocharged ST range-topper offering around 170bhp.

The new Fiesta will share its underpinnings with the recently-launched Mazda2.
