Lexus has revamped its corporate sales website to allow drivers, fleet managers and leasing companies easier access to information.

Accessible via www.lexus.co.uk and clicking on the Company Cars section, the new sub-site offers details such as specification comparison, price lists and BIK tax costs for drivers, SMR and running costs for leasing companies and an amalgamation of the two for fleet managers.

Andy Simpson, national corporate sales and remarketing manager, said: “This new section sits well and guides customers through our offering. This emphasises the focus we have on true fleet business – sales to leasing firms and end-users.”

The site also features a large section dedicated to explaining the manufacturer’s extensive hybrid vehicle offering, an area where Lexus is seeing strong interest.

Mr Simpson added: “There is a huge demand for our hybrid models and we already have lots of chairmen from blue chip companies chasing our new LS600h which arives in October.

“Not only is it a luxurious, sporting car but it fits in well with companies who want to promote their green credentials.”

Lexus is also working on the remarketing of its cars and is aiming to create a 14-day window when cars are defleeted from leasing companies to allow it to put these models through its dealer network under the Fleet Direct banner to mitigate against shortages of used car stock.
