Careers: How are you settling in?

  • You’re new to the motor industry. How does it differ to your last job?
    My responsibilities are pretty similar really.

  • Describe your first few months?
    I have settled into my new role and it gives me the variety I was looking for.

  • What transferable skills have you used to help in your new role?
    Campaign development and planning, creativity and agency liaison skills.

  • What is your career background?
    B2B marketing, PR assistant, executive and consumer senior marketing roles.

  • What are you working on at the moment?
    I’m planning and implementing various marketing campaigns aimed at raising Volkswagen retailers’ awareness of buying used cars for their customers.

  • Have you been following a career path?
    Yes, I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Science in Media. On the course my passion grew for marketing in the business to business arena. Following graduation, I worked my way up the career ladder.
