LOMBARD Vehicle Management (LVM) has won a major contract with media giant BSkyB to supply at least 2,100 vans and cars on an exclusive basis.

LVM beat a field of 20 tendering companies to secure the deal.

Initially LVM is delivering 1,700 vans over the next three years, but the van fleet is likely to increase in size alongside the growing BSkyB business.

The vans, all Vauxhall Vivaros, are being run on a full-maintenance contract agreement over 36 months. The first 260 vehicles have just been delivered, with a further 950 to be delivered in the first half of this year.

LVM’s van unit is managing the whole build process, which includes a bespoke Bri-Stor racking system and ladder system. The racking was specified for longevity, enabling it to be transferred on to subsequent vehicles after the current fleet is replaced.

The vehicles are being delivered in a variety of liveries featuring images from major Sky programmes and films.
