CAP extends data resource

Fleet operators are now able to access an even greater pool of vehicle valuation and technical information.

Platinum Windows, the newest application from data provider CAP, covers 34,830 cars and 7,582 light commercial vehicles.

The programme boasts 380% more used van valuations and 35% more used car figures than its standard, Windows-based, predecessor.

Platinum also provides risk relevant information on recently registered, special edition and specialist fuel units, as well as issuing personalised reports and vehicle tracking.

Trevor Heathcote, purchase and disposals manager for the Pentagon motor group, praised the software’s coverage of newly registered vehicles, saying: “Platinum solves the problem we used to face of having no independent pricing source.

“I am also very impressed with the accuracy of the information supplied.”
