Can you afford not to be at Hit For Six North which takes place on Wednesday in Ilkley?

Among the key issues covered will be risk management, green fleet management, training and advice, tendering, wholelife costs, taxation, funding and much more.

Fleet News has revealed that the Crown Prosecution Service is looking at tough new penalties which include up to two years in jail for drivers convicted of dangerous driving while using devices such as mobile phones or sat-nav.

With this in mind, one of the keynote sessions at the conference will cover effective risk management, sponsored by Lex.

Among the other issues covered at Hit for Six North on September 26 will be the future of fuel, covered by Malcolm Noyle, director of Noyle Fleet Solutions.

Nigel Underdown, head of transport energy advice at the Energy Saving Trust, will be providing best practice advice on green fleet management techniques.

A segment on fleet software, tracking and gadgets will include a session on in-office technology including software and internet-based services.

A session on taxation will be provided by PricewaterhouseCoopers, while Deloitte will be providing funding advice. Experts from CAP will be looking at residual values and how to manage wholelife costs.
