Describe your fleet?
We have 37 cars and 93 vans. The cars are mainly Peugeots with a few executive vehicles. The vans are 7.5 and 3.5 tonnes and mainly Ford Transits and Iveco Dailys.
Which aspect of fleet management do you most enjoy?
Sourcing new vehicles. It’s the perfect opportunity to renew acquaintances with many of the people who acquire vehicles for me.
Have you ever had a really bad day at work?
The day the fuel had not hit the bunker and all our drivers had their fuel cards refused at the filling stations. It was a nightmare.
What could make your life easier at work?
Having a vehicle management system.
Have you had any specific training for your job?
No. You have to actually do the job to gain the knowledge.
Where is your favourite holiday destination?
The Alps. Every year my partner and I get on our motorbikes and head for the mountains for two weeks. The scenery is amazing.
