How was your first day?
It was really great. The management team made me feel really welcome the first minute I walked through the front door.
What challenges have you faced so far?
I have found that the market place is quite challenging at present, with lots of other
rental companies competing against us for business in the lower end of the market. The customers and rental rates reflect this competition.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?
I have just managed to close a very large order with a well-known renter within the marketplace. This has obviously really set me off on the right foot in my new role as national business development manager.
Have you had a really bad day at work yet?
I can’t really say I have but it is still early days. I look forward to proving my ability when that bad day comes.
What do you do to unwind?
I enjoy playing football and coaching my son’s under-10s team. I also like a beer with my partner in the evening.
