BMW has launched a series of new trim levels across its range after record sales in 2007.

The Edition models feature some specific colour, interior options and increased equipment.

The 1 Series Edition ES – £250 more than the ES – features 17-inch alloys, upgraded upholstery, a multi-function steering wheel and front fog lights, which would normally cost £1,340 over the standard ES.

On the 3 Series, there are Edition ES and SE models which come in special black, silver and graphite colours with leather and brushed aluminium interiors.

The Edition models cost £750 more than the standard equivalent, but include £3,000 of equipment.

It is also offering a deal on its business navigation system in the 5 Series. 520d buyers can specify the system and a six-CD changer for £350, a saving of £1,310.

Production begins in March.
