Airside service from Europcar

Europcar has launched a new airside service to fast track vehicle rentals for customers travelling from Gatwick and Edinburgh into other UK airports.

As it is located airside at both airports, Europcar will process reservations before customers board their plane.

Once the reservation has been made at the departure airport, the renting location will be contacted to confirm the customer’s requirements and verify pre-qualification.

Customers with a pre-filled rental agreement can go straight to the Europcar location and collect their vehicle.

“Now customers can check in for their car rental before they board the plane, safe in the knowledge that the rental agreement will be pre-printed and the vehicle will be allocated before they even take off,” explained David Alexander, operations director, Europcar.

“When they arrive at their destination, they just sign the paperwork and drive away.”
