The three-door version of the Mazda2 will make its debut on the catwalk at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

It will be the first time that a three-door variant has been included in the range, and promises all the attributes of the five-door hatchback but with a sportier feel at a lower price.

The new car is designed to bring in new customers and boost Mazda’s European growth.

It features the same two petrol and one diesel engines as the five-door.

The Geneva Show will also see three Mazda European debuts: the Mazda Taiki concept, with a next-generation rotary engine, the Mazda5 Hydrogen RE Hybrid and the RX-8.
