New VW Caddy

Volkswagen is set to unveil the new Caddy Maxi van at this year’s CV show at Birmingham’s NEC in April.

The show will also see the reveal of the ultra-green Caddy BlueMotion concept vehicle.

The Caddy Maxi creates a new class of small van between the Caddy and Transporter.

There will be three derivatives – the panel van, window van and the seven-seat passenger van, the Life.

The new vehicle is 47 cm longer than the Caddy and offers a larger load capacity of 4.2 m³ with a payload of 800 kg.

The near-production concept Caddy BlueMotion uses advanced diesel technology to improve fuel consumption and lower emissions without compromising driving experience or practicality.
